Anti-Snoring Device

Are you a snoring victim?  Do you suffer from sleep apnea? We can help you take back the night!

What is snoring?

Snoring is caused by the partial obstruction of the airway during sleep. As you fall asleep, muscles in your throat, tongue, and soft palate begin to relax. If the muscles relax too much they can fall back and partially obstruct your airway. As you breathe, the air passing through the airway can cause the soft tissues to vibrate, and this vibration is the harsh buzzing sound you make when you snore. Many snorers also suffer from sleep apnea which is a serious sleep disorder when breathing is interrupted or stopped when asleep. The good news is that there are several solutions.

Treatment options

Healthcare providers offer three types of treatment. A CPAP or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure device is a large machine you wear that forces a steady pressure of air into your lungs as you sleep. A second more drastic solution involves surgery, usually of the throat. A third, more popular treatment is a small and portable anti-snoring appliance.
